Directed by a group of professional newspaper and television news editors, an enthusiastic team of journalists-in-training from the University of South Carolina using second-generation picture phones from Cingular Wireless filed these reports during a period of 32 hours, ending at 11 p.m. on Feb. 3. Then TextAmerica's underlying technology enabled us to create this rich environment around those reports.

Each panel in this moblog tells a little piece of the story of the primary from an intimate, first-person perspective. As you start to scroll and jump through the entries, however, they meld into an intricately multifaceted report.
